This sleeping bag series uses AURORA TEX LIGHT, a waterproof and breathable material developed independently by NANGA.
AURORA TEX LIGHT is extremely thin and lightweight while offering excellent water resistance.
In many fabrics, increasing water resistance often reduces breathability. AURORA TEX LIGHT solves this issue at a high level, providing both protection and comfort.
Because of this, the sleeping bag can be used without a separate waterproof sleeping bag cover, helping you stay worry-free even on rainy days or when condensation forms inside the tent.
It is recommended for tent-based mountain climbing, long-distance trekking, and users who:
- Want to reduce pack weight as much as possible
- Need a sleeping bag that can handle changing weather conditions
The inner fabric uses 15D nylon, offering a soft and smooth feel against the skin. It allows comfortable use without the stiff or uncomfortable feeling often associated with waterproof materials.
The sleeping bag uses a single quilt construction. This simple structure stitches the outer fabric and lining together, making the sleeping bag lighter and more compact.
It is recommended for outdoor activities from early summer through early autumn.
DX Down: 760 FP Spanish Duck Down 90-10%
This model uses high-quality duck down from ducks raised for more than twice the usual period in a rich natural environment.
During the long raising period, the down grows through three natural molting cycles. This results in larger, stronger, and higher-quality down clusters.
Large down clusters can hold more air and offer excellent loft recovery. Even after being stored compactly, the sleeping bag lofts quickly and provides warmth efficiently.
Because it offers reliable insulation while packing down small, it is ideal for activities where carrying capacity is limited, such as long-distance mountain trekking.
The down is washed in Japan using ultra-soft water with fine particles. This allows the down to be thoroughly cleaned, removing residue, invisible dust, and impurities from every part of the feather.
As a result, it helps reduce animal odors and limits the growth of bacteria and insects, making allergic reactions less likely.
Using the sleeping bag together with the Sleeping Bag Inner Sheet helps protect the sleeping bag from sweat and body oils. It also improves comfort by reducing stickiness against the skin.
Draft Tube
A down-filled tube is placed along the zipper to block cold air from entering through the zipper gap, improving heat retention.
Drawcord
A drawcord around the face area helps keep warmth around the head and face.
Mesh Bag
Mesh storage bag included.
