OIGEN

Nambu cast ironware from a 170-year-old foundry — shipped directly from Osaka.

The Story

Cast iron from the home of Nambu Tekki

Founded in 1852 by Oikawa Genjuro in Mizusawa, Oshu — one of the historic homes of Nambu ironware — OIGEN has been casting iron cookware for five generations. Its signature Naked Finish uses no chemical coatings: just iron, fired at high heat, that seasons and improves with every use. Kettles, skillets, sukiyaki pans — each piece is made to be repaired, passed down, and used for a lifetime.
